
Registration for the DGSKA Conference 2025, Cologne
All participant (convenors, authors, chairs, discussants, organisers, keynotes, penary speakers, guests, volunteers and attending committee members) must register via the registration form. The registration form will be open until 29 September 2025.
Registration is by online form only and does not require instant payment: your registration will be processed and you will be emailed an invoice with payment information. Invoices should be settled within 15 days by card online or by bank transfer.
Early Bird registration will be open from 5th May until 7th July 2025.
After the Early Bird registration is over, the registration continues with more expensive standard prices. Tickets prices will increase by 30€.

Please not the following rules:
1 For GASCA/DGSKA members and members of other WCAA organisations. Registration as a GASCA/DGSKA member will only take final effect if all due and outstanding membership fees have been paid to the GASCA by 01.07.2023. In case of doubt, please contact the GASCA/DGSKA office (geschaeftsstelle@dgska.de). To become a member you need to fill in the form here, send it to the office and pay the membership fees for 2025.
2 Applies to positions of 75% or more, as well as to emeriti and retired university lecturers.
3 Please have your student enrolement certificate ready when registering on site.
4 Day ticket is for one day attendance, when using this option you will be requested to indicate the date you intend to attend. If you wish to attend more then 1 day, please select whole conference registration category.
What are you paying for?
The conference registration fee include 3 days of international content, over 400 research papers in 70 panels, coffee, tea, mineral water and snacks during the coffee breaks as well as alcoholic, non-alcoholic drinks and participation in the buffet at the reception on Monday (29.09.) evening. During the conference, you have free entrance to the Rautenstrauch-Joest Museum.
Payment
Once registered you will be sent a invoice with the payment page link at the end of the invoice. Clicking on the link will automatically find your invoice in the conference system and you can pay it directly (via Stripe payment environment).
If you wish to use bank transfer, then the banking details are on the invoice and also on the payment page. Make sure to reference the invoice number on the transfer, so that we can find it quicker and confirm the payment in the conference system.
Cancellation
Registrations cancelled (notifying us by email to dgska@nomadit.co.uk) more than three weeks before (until 5th September) the conference will be refunded, less 50€ (administrative fees).
Cancellations made within three weeks (after 5th September) of the event will be ineligible for such a refund, due to costs already incurred. Refunds at that point will be discretionary.
Funding
Unfortunately the conference is unable to offer financial assistance. Please consult with your institution for support or apply directly to alternative sources of funding.
Remote participation
Unfortunately, there is no reliable and comprehensive Internet access at the University of Cologne: Zoom/Meet/Teams events/presentations are not possible.
