German Association of Social and Cultural Anthropology

From September 29 to October 2, our conference on the topic of “Un/Commoning Anthropology” took place in Cologne.

Almost 700 social and cultural anthropologists attended—giving presentations, participating in discussions, workshops, and labs. Exciting plenary sessions with distinguished guests set important thematic accents. Other highlights included the exhibition “Out of Focus” and the conference party with Chef Kabui at the Rautenstrauch-Joest-Museum.

We would like to thank everyone who attended for an unforgettable conference in Cologne and look forward to seeing you again in Hamburg.
