Childcare

We offer all conference guests the opportunity of childcare in the University of Cologne’s Paramecium day care centre during the conference.
Childcare is only available for children of non-school age (in exceptional cases, older children can also be looked after). The day care centre is usually open from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (care times may differ from these regular opening hours and may be extended by off-peak hours).
The children are supervised and looked after by educational staff in a separate group room provided for the conference.

Costs:

Childcare is free of charge. Parents are only required to pay a lump sum of €5.00 per child per day for meals [parents pay this by card transfer directly at the daycare centre].

If you are interested in childcare, please send an e-mail to Sandra Kurfürst (s.kurfuerst@uni-koeln.de) with details of the number of children to be cared for and the desired time period. The registration deadline is 15 July 2025, after which we will send you the registration form and further information.
